Hand Tools
















Wrench.
Description: A wrench or spanner is a tool used to provide a mechanical advantage in applying torque to turn bolts, nuts or other hard-to-turn items.







Hammer.



Description: A hammer is a tool meant to deliver an impact to an object. The most common uses are for driving nails, fitting parts, and breaking up objects. Hammers are often designed for a specific purpose, and vary widely in their shape and structure. Usual features are a handle and a head, with most of the weight in the head. The basic design is hand-operated, but there are also many mechanically operated models for heavier uses.











Mallet.



Description: A Mallet is a type of hammer with a head made of softer materials than the steel normally used hammerheads, so as to avoid damaging a delicate surface.











Screwdriver.



Description: The screwdriver is a device specifically designed to insert and tighten, or to loosen and remove, screws. The screwdriver comprises a head or tip which engages with a screw, a mechanism to apply torque by rotatin the tip, and some way to position and support the screwdriver.











Hack saw.



Description: A hacksaw is a fine-tooth saw with a blade under tension in a frame, used for cutting materials such as metal os bone. Some have pistol grips which keep the hacksw firm and easy to grip.



























Pliers



Description : Pliers are hand tools, designed primarily for gripping objects by using leverage.Pliers are designed for numerous purposes and sometimes require differente jaw configurations to grip, turn, pull, or crimp a variety of things. They are a tool common to many



dexterous trades and occupations. Many types of pliers also include jaws fot cutting.

























Chisel



Description: A chisel is a tool with a characterostically shaped cutting edge ( such that wood chisels have lent part of their name to a particular grind) of blade on its end, for carving and/or cutting a hard material such as wood, stone, or metal. The handle and blade of some types of chisel are made of metal or wood with a sharp edge in it.






















Screw



Description: A screw is a shaft with a helical groove or thread formed on its surface and provision at one end to turn the screw. Its main uses are as a threaded fastener used to hold objects tgether, and as a simple machine used to translate torque into linear force. It can also be defined as an inclined plane wrapped around shaft.



















Drill



Description: A drill ( from Dutch Drillen ) is a tool with a rotating drill bit used fot drilling holes in various materials. Drills are commonly used in wood working, metalworking, construction and DIY.



























































Allen Key



Description: Used to hold or twist allen bolts.















Hand saw









Description: In woodworking and carpentry, hand saws, also known as "panel saws", are used to cut pieces of wood into different shapes. This is usually done in order to join the pieces together and create wooden object.
















Vise






Description: A vise is a mechanical screwmachine used for holding or clamping a work piece to allow work to be performed on it with tools such as saws, planes, drills, mills, screwdrivers, sandpaper, etc.
















File



Description: A dile(or hand-file) is a hand tool used to shape material by cutting. A file typically takes th form of a hardened steel bar, mostly covered with a series of sharp, parallel ridges or teeth. Most files have a narrow, pointed tang at one end to which a handle can be fitted.





















Sickle

Description: Is used to cutting various thin materials.










Gimlet



Description:



A gimlet is a hand tool for drilling smal holes, mainly in wood, without splitting.

Description:



Hot melt adhesive ( or hot glue) is a form of thermoplastic adhesive that is commonly supplied in solid cylindrical sticks of various diameters, designed to be melted in an electric hot glue gun.
